I recently had some friends over for dinner. I made our favorite pasta dish. This was one of my dishes. This was something that I had put on the back burner. I usually just find a recipe online and figure out what I should make, then I throw together a decent meal. Or I’ll find something out of the kitchen that doesn’t seem to go together, and then I’m happy. I’m not really trying to be a foodie.
I believe there are two types of foodie: Those who are foodies and those who are food noobs. One type of foodie will be happy with a simple, easy meal in their fridge that they are able to make themselves. The other type of foodie will be looking for a recipe to have some new sauce added to their food that they are excited about. That is the type of foodie who will be eating a hamburger on a weekend.
It’s all about the sauce. It’s not about the food. It’s a whole new way of cooking and preparing food that many of us have never tried before. It really is something fresh and exciting, and I’m really looking forward to trying it out.
