I’m not sure how, but its possible you may get corona even if you have an infected cat or dog. All I do know is that if you have an infected cat or dog, you should get tested asap.
Of course, as soon as you get corona, you go on a dangerous vacation to the tropics, where the virus has not yet been detected. If you do not get corona, you need to get tested asap.
I am not a vet but I had to make sure I get tested for corona asap. This is because it can be passed from one person to another, and even between pets, like a dog or cat. The difference between a cat and a dog is that you can inject the virus into a cat, but you cannot do the same thing with a dog. So if you have a dog (or cat) that is infected, you need to get tested asap.
Like most other things around the globe, when people are infected with corona they start to get very sick. By the time you are able to get home, the illness is terminal.
