I loved the change and would make it again.

I love komati jayaram too, but it is worth noting that the recipe isnt that big of a deal. So really, you can make a good komati jayaram without the need to add water. The only thing you have to do is add some fresh coconut milk, and you have a fine coconut-y komati jayaram that cooks up in less than 10 minutes.

The only thing you have to do to make a good coconut-y komati jayaram is to add some fresh coconut milk. I would make it, but that would ruin the coconut flavor so I would just skip it.

The coconut milk is a great substitute for the regular milk in this recipe. It adds a flavor that is much more natural, and the coconut milk itself is very easy to make. Adding the coconut milk is a little tricky, however, because you have to mix it with the ground dried coconut. You can do this by putting the coconut in a blender and then slowly adding the ground dried coconut until the mixture is fine.
