Prem Kumar Dhoomal is a passionate, hard-working, and incredibly successful blogger who has built his name and the blog itself on his extensive knowledge of India.
Dhoomal’s blog was recently featured on CNN India, and the reason why is because the article was based on his blog posts and his knowledge. So while he might not be the most well-known blogger in the Indian blogosphere, I feel like he is one of the most well-known bloggers in the Indian blogosphere.
Prem Kumar is based in the heart of Jaipur, India where he has been blogging and working on his business for the last three decades. To make a long story short, at one point he decided to create a blog where he would share his thoughts on different aspects of life in India. The blog has grown over the years with over one hundred thousand pages. Prem Kumar has also created a mobile app that takes his readers through his journey and is available in over 130 countries.
If you’ve never heard of Prem Kumar, you’d better check that out, because the name is really pretty, but I have. Prem Kumar has a YouTube channel and is very active on Instagram.

A few months back, Prem had an article on TechCrunch called “The ‘S’ Word: Prem Kumar’s Blog.” It was the only time that the article was really about Prem, but it made for a great read. What was even more interesting was Prem’s reply to the question of what he was working on at the time.
Prem has been working on a new kind of software for Indian banks for the past couple of months. It is called “Dhumal” or “Dhomala” (in Hindi) and it is an in-app chat software. “Dhomala” or Dhomala is an Indian expression meaning “to make a lot of money quickly,” which is a very popular phrase in India.
Prem has been working on this app for a long time, but he has not gotten around to releasing it just yet. However, he has started to release apps for other Indian developers (like Paytm and Infusionsoft) and I can’t wait to see what comes of it. Prem is a very talented guy and this will be a great app that will serve his customers well.
